LETTER FROM THE FRIENDS OF THE CASTLE SCHOOL

Dear Parents/ Guardians / Carers

The Friends of The Castle School is a charitable organisation raising money to support the pupils and staff by providing extras funds to enhance the school environment. We have always relied upon a small number of volunteers to organise and man events in order to raise this money. This is becoming increasingly difficult with work and family commitments. As this is a familiar situation, we are now looking at a different approach. To enable us to continue the current level of support it has been decided by the Committee and approved by the Governing body to ask each family in the school for a voluntary contribution to a ‘School Fund’. The suggested contribution to the new ‘School Fund’ is £10. *** Whilst this will not take the place of all the events it will mean that you, as busy parents, can feel you have contributed without feeling pressured into attending such events. Please return your contribution to Mrs Rogers at Student Reception. Thanking you for your continued support.

The Friends of The Castle School. * Cheques made payable to The Friends of The Castle School ** Data Protection – No personal record of payment will be kept *** This amount is a suggestion – larger or smaller donations accepted
